It's been out a week or two now, honestly with the
holidays haven't really kept track of the exact release dates of new movies, but this one definitely struck a chord. Anyone seen the massive World War One movie 1917 by Mendes? A while back there was a very extensive and excellent primer
review in Slate to get all excited for its release, now that we're all somewhat headed home post holiday think it's top of the list. Any thoughts from anyone who has seen it?
By the way, this is our attempt to move a little off of the environmental coverage we've been plastering all over the site for the past few months, how's that, a bad attempt at bringing in a little pop culture?
