Maybe five years ago or so it seemed that sighting an electric vehicle was few and far between an odds are if we did seen one you could pretty much be sure it was a Tesla. Sadly it’s taken a long time for other auto manufacturers to catch up and produce their versions of fully electric cars. Not really sure why that is, although it wouldn’t be hard to guess – something to the effect of big company’s have a hard time making change, sticking to the status quo, having trouble trying to ramp up production. EVs have for the most part been a bit of an after thought. Happily though, seems times are picking up a bit more speed and now passing by and seeing a car plugged in isn’t all that uncommon. If we’re going to have any chance of combating climate change and fixing all of our environmental ills, we’re all eventually going to be driving electric, better get used to it. Personally, pretty excited for it. While no one here at work yet has an electric car, had the pleasure of driving in one when visiting Amsterdam last year, it was awesome.
